Now, it's done


I’ve been talking about it for a while, and have now condensed most of the gameplay techniques I wanted into a coherent and safe game framework. There’s a lot of rulings to be done during a session, Old School style, and character arcs, storygame style: it’s not for everyone, but it’s precisely the hybrid I was aiming for.

I’m still working on putting the finishing touches to what’s already ready as a draft: the Crown and the Questions tracks, the creation of experienced characters, the characters’ detection powers (detecting danger, reading memories, etc.) and lots of material to spark stories (autonomous communities, intrigue, settings, actionables classified by situation).

The next step (next year?) will be to make it pleasant for the eyes.
